Some people say rock & roll is dead. If so, they haven't heard the most recent album "6" by the PA-based band Eighteenth Hour. "6" showcases straight-ahead rock & roll songwriting at its finest while capturing Eighteenth Hour's live performance musicianship, which is what this band has become known for over the past decade.
Eighteenth Hour's newest album "6" represents "a culmination of maturity, song craft, and musicianship that far exceeds the band's time together. Slick, tight hooks with soaring melodies to satisfy any rocker!" - A.J. Fritz, WLVR 91.3FM (2013)
Eighteenth Hour's reputation as a great live band spread quickly after winning WZZO 95.1FM's 15th Annual Backyard Bands Competition which was judged by representatives from Atlantic, Virgin, and Interscope Records. This was the launching pad that lead Eighteenth Hour to regular performances at the best original music venues in the tri-state area as well as some of the region's largest music festivals, including Alive@Five (Stamford, CT) and Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA). Eighteenth Hour has shared the stage with a variety of artists including Bon Jovi, Three Doors Down, Collective Soul, Bret Michaels, Spacehog, Thin Lizzy, Days of the New, Skid Row, Great White, The Badlees, Blessid Union of Souls and blues great Shemekia Copeland.
